McDonald’s Lambak drive-thru opens its doors

FEATURING the latest and trendy alphabet design, symbolising a bold and spacious areas and infusing natural light, Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd, the operator for McDonald’s Brunei, officially opened their new flagship restaurant in Berakas – the McDonald’s Lambak Drive-Thru.

After more than two years since McDonald’s Drive-Thru at Jerudong Park, McDonald’s Brunei has opened its third branch, also a Drive-Thru, to the public starting yesterday as early as 6am.

The opening of its second Drive-Thru marked a significant achievement where it employs 79 staff. McDonald’s offers an excellent training opportunities and progressive career path to help employees to grow.

One of the leading examples is its Restaurant General Manager Mohd Dini bin Haji Morsidim who began his career as a crew member back in 2016 when McDonald’s open their first Drive-Thru at Jerudong Park.

Today, the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) graduate becomes a role model for its crews and managers to achieve better self-performance which enable them to provide the best customer service.

Accommodating 298 customers at one time, the popular eatery offers McCafe, Drive-Thru and McDelivery services. However, the McDelivery services will be launched at a later date.

The two-storey restaurant is also equipped with a private room and playground. Other facilities include prayer rooms for both female and male, bathroom accessible for the disabled, and new and improved diaper changing room which includes an area for breast feeding.

McDonald’s Lambak Drive-Thru operates as early as 6am daily. In conjunction with their opening, from yesterday to November 4, it will operate from 6am until 1am. On Friday, it will close from 12pm to 2pm for Friday prayer.
