Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd is the holding company of the Government of Brunei Darussalam established to be the strategic owner of Brunei’s Government Linked Companies (GLCs).
We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following position in one of our subsidiary companies:


General Manager for Logistics Infrastructure & Services

Employment Type: Permanent
The General Manager is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate the operations pertaining to logistics infrastructure as well as related services. The role focuses on the overall business to ensure effective implementation of strategic goals and business plans, and to ensure efficient planning of material and human resources towards realising the corporate objectives. The role will also involve implementation of strategies aimed at creating sustainable long-term value, whilst ensuring identification and communication to the Board of all materials risks along with mitigation plans.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in a logistics and/or related field; and/or MBA
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with impeccable work ethic
  • Possess strong financial acumen, business planning and management skills
  • Able to converse and write in both English and Malay fluently
  • At least 20 years’ working experience

Key competencies required:

  • Technical and functional knowledge in the logistics industry
  • Management skills (human resources, business development and finance)
  • Leadership and personal effectiveness
  • Familiarity with local and international regulations in logistics industry
