Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd is the holding company of the Government of Brunei Darussalam established to be the strategic owner of Brunei’s Government Linked Companies (GLCs).

We are looking for highly motivated and suitably qualified Bruneian professionals to fill the following positions:


Investment Department

Junior Investment Associate

An entry-level position, which is part of the Investment Team, responsible for managing, evaluating and monitoring Darussalam Assets’ portfolio companies. The job focus includes business and industry analysis, financial and business performance monitoring and reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business discipline (Investment, Finance, Economics, Accounting Management, and Operations Research). Master’s degree or a relevant full/partial professional qualification or working experience in business or finance related fields would be an advantage.

Key competencies required:

  • Able to understand and analyse financial statements with good analytical skills. Possess strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel.

Human Capital Development Department

Junior Human Capital Development Associate

An entry-level position responsible for implementing the tactical aspects of the Human Capital Development Strategy for Darussalam Assets and its Portfolio Companies which requires strong understanding of organisation dynamics.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in specialising in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations or other related disciplines. Master’s Degree, CIPD qualification or relevant working experience in HR fields would be an advantage.

Key competencies required:

  • Demonstrate good understanding and knowledge on HR policies, processes and functions, including in areas of Learning and Development, Performance Management and HR Systems. Possess strong critical thinking, planning and organisational, problem solving and communication skills.

Corporate Communications Unit

Corporate Communications Associate

The role includes developing, formulating and moderating appropriate communication strategies for sensitive and confidential materials to be communicated to internal and external audiences. Acts as Company’s spokesperson and internal subject matter expert in response to media requests and public communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Psychology and/or other related disciplines. Minimum of 2 years of related working experience in public relations, media relations, events management and social media management would be an advantage.

Key competencies required:

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills with strong communication skills to interpret, process and disseminate information effectively. Proficiency in graphic design would be an advantage.

CEO’s Office

Executive Assistant

The role acts as the administrative focal person for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The position is also responsible in providing efficient day to day administrative and secretarial support including managing CEO’s daily schedules and calendar management, assisting in letter and report writing and ensuring the smooth-running functioning activities in the CEO Office.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Business Administration or in equivalent field OR more than 5 years working experience in clerical and administrative related position.

Key competencies required:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills and possess good professional verbal and written skills.
