Royal Brunei Catering gets new deal

ROYAL Brunei Catering (RBC) inked a Contractual Purchasing Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with five local agricultural companies at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism recently.

The strategic partnership will see the five companies – Farm Culture Co, Syarikat Perniagaan Haji Sapar, Koperasi Pegusahan Sayur Berhad, Syarikat Juja Enterprise and Riza Fudhlana Farming – supplying RBC and all of its restaurants and food outlets with local produce for their menus.

The MoU is aimed at supporting the local agricultural sector and economy in line with the call of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to develop the local agriculture sector to ensure national food self-sufficiency, stimulate gross domestic product growth, and create jobs.

Signing the agreement on behalf of RBC was RBC General Manager Haji Jeff Hadiman bin Dato Paduka Haji Danial. Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong witnessed the signing.
