Bandar Seri Begawan – Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (Darussalam Assets) and Print Plus Sdn Bhd (Print Plus) have collaborated to create its inaugural annual community project showcasing the artwork produced by artists of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam (Pusat Ehsan) into commercial greeting cards and packets in conjunction with the festive Eid season.
Darussalam Assets Sdn Bhd (Darussalam Assets) and Print Plus Sdn Bhd (Print Plus) have collaborated with Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam (Pusat Ehsan) to showcase the artwork of Pusat Ehsan students while raising funds for the charity. Specially made greeting cards and Hari Raya packets featuring the colourful artwork of Pusat Ehsan students were printed by Print Plus for Darussalam Assets in conjunction with the festive Eid season.
As part of Darussalam Assets and Print Plus’ corporate social responsibility, a substantial part of the proceeds generated from the limited sale of greeting cards and packets were donated to Pusat Ehsan today to support their vision of enabling Brunei Darussalam’s special needs community to live a meaningful life in society. The proceeds will be utilised towards achieving their mission to provide training, assistance, and care for individuals with special needs to empower them to be able to achieve their full potential in society. The collaboration also served as a platform to showcase the creative talents of students from Pusat Ehsan. The designs presented on the cards and packets were by Nurbatrisya binti Hj Eddie, Norazira Siawling binti Pudarno, Miguelangelo Q. Dimanlig and Emelina Anak Tunik.

Print Plus, although a new player in the commercial market, has inherited over 35 years of experience in the printing industry. “As one of the newest members of the DA Group family, we are very pleased to collaborate with DA on this project and to be able to contribute in the best possible way with the in-house expertise and printing capabilities inherited from Jabatan Percetakan. As a newly corporatised entity, Print Plus Sdn Bhd is still finding its feet from the corporate social responsibility perspective. This initiative is a stepping stone for more meaningful impacts we aim to achieve, such as working with special needs children. We look forward to more collaborations in the near future.”, stated Muhammad Reeda bin Haji Malik; General Manager of Print Plus.
Over the years, Darussalam Assets has cultivated a meaningful relationship with Pusat Ehsan, being a benefactor of its ‘Special Needs Student Adoption Scheme’ and actively learning about the students’ learning and development progress at the Pusat Ehsan. Through joint initiatives such as these, Darussalam Assets aims to be better able to invest into the needs of the students as well as identify opportunities that can further support both the centre and the special needs community. “Nurturing community relations is something that is of importance for Darussalam Assets. Creating a better tomorrow means not just investing into sustainable sectors in the economy, but also executing the core pillars of our corporate social responsibility. Being able to action this alongside Print Plus and Pusat Ehsan has been a great success, and we hope to do more for the community in years to come,” stated Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid; Chief Executive Officer of Darussalam Assets.
